The CIRI radar (Cognitive Interferometry Radar Imager) is located at the Huancayo Observatory for coherent dispersion studies of the equatorial ionosphere. It was installed in Huancayo to operate as a complement to the ionospheric radar of the Jicamarca Radio Observatory, in order to observe the coherent dispersion that occurred in Jicamarca and then be observed in Huancayo and finally be able to make conclusions of the dynamics between the two locations.
