In 1991, Ciencia Internacional —a non-profit civil association— was created with the purpose of providing personnel, goods, and services to the observatory in order to support the IGP in the operation of JRO.

ID+i

The Investigation, Development, and Innovation (IDI) area is responsible for generating hardware and software solutions for the radar systems and other instruments that we have at the Jicamarca Radio Observatory according to their needs. The goal of the area is to carry out technological development and innovation projects in order to promote the generation of knowledge and the development of the national scientic community, as well as, to contribute to international technological development projects. and other instrumentation.
