Guided Tour
We have guidelines to visitors

Slide VISITS We accept visits of groups or delegations of institutes, universities, and schools (high school students). The group of visitors must have a maximum of 15 people, including the person in charge of the group. OPENING HOURS Tuesdays and Thursdays of each month,
In the mornings from 09:00 to 11:00 hours (strict schedule).
VISIT REQUEST The request for a guided tour must be sent fifteen days in advance, via an official letter (with the institution's letterhead) emailed to roj@igp.gob.pe

It is necessary to attach the list of persons who will participate in the visit, indicating their full names, Identification number (DNI or passport), institution of origin, and the person responsible for the group of visitors.

We will respond to your request based on availability.
New Layer New Layer New Layer GUIDELINES ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS Visits to JRO are suspended until further notice All visitors who get the access Jicamarca Radio Observatory have to pay attention to the following rules:
• All visitors have to identify themselves with his/her DNI or passport in the control gate.
• Eating during guided tour is forbidden.
• Smoking is forbidden.
• Bags, backpacks or purses are kept in a room while the guided tour is taking place.

ABOUT THE GUIDED TOUR The guided tour takes about 2 hours and includes the following activities:
• Presentation of JRO activities.
• Visit to the main antenna.
• Visit to the transmitter area.
• Visit to the operations room.

The tour may be subject to changes without notification depending on the operational activities at JRO.
