To celebrate its 50 th anniversary, the Jicamarca Radio Observatory performs in its commemorative activities Photographic Documentary Competition: Identity and History of the JRO.
July 11th
Because of its 50 th anniversary of foundation, it was launched 50 years postage stamp of Jicamarca Radio Observatory in recognition of the service of science and its special contribution to the knowledge of Equatorial Geospace.
March 14th - 18th
Jicamarca Week started on 14 to 18 March. We wanted to celebrate with what defines us as Jicamarquinos: science, sports, technology and celebration.
December 22
In anticipation of the holidays, was held successfully the Chocolate Christmas in Jicamarca that was full of awards, science, sports, recognitions and special guests.

The EISCAT Scientific Association is an international research organization operating three incoherent scatter radar systems, at 931 MHz, 224 MHz and 500 MHz, in Northern Scandinavia.

A passion that combines sports and science. 98 participants took this year's race Don Farley held at Jicamarca as part of activities for the 50 year anniversary.
