Some of these particles disintegrate into Earth&#8217;s atmosphere and influence the circulation process of the atmosphere that can affect the variability of our climate. However, other objects pass through the atmosphere impacting directly our surface, representing a threat to the integrity of our cities in both the physical infrastructure and in the lives of their inhabitants. Because of this, it is important to study and monitor the objects surrounding the Earth.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\"><p>This research line refers to characterizing the response of the ionosphere and upper atmosphere to external agents that come from the Sun and\/or the Earth itself. This response can be modeled using both mathematical physical models and statistical models, taking into account the interaction or relationship that exists between the different physical parameters that characterize these upper layers of the atmosphere. Thus, the response of these regions to different stimuli can be determined in short, medium, and long term.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f59a64b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f59a64b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\"><p>Physics of the solar corona and interplanetary medium<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-120d83b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"120d83b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\"><p>We study the internal processes of the solar corona and the formation of solar flares and coronal mass ejections which give rise to the generation of charged particles and electromagnetic waves that are ejected by the Sun and impact the Earth. We also study the processes of interaction and transport of energy between the Sun and the Earth, in order to determine the response of the Earth&#8217;s outermost layers to solar phenomena.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-413c691\" data-id=\"413c691\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bab8d76 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"bab8d76\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\"><p>Physics of ionospheric instabilities<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d20f365 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d20f365\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\"><p>We study the physical processes that generate ionospheric instabilities in the equatorial region, such as the equatorial Spread-F, Electrojet, 150 km echoes, and others. We also study their development, evolution, and interaction with the neutral atmosphere. This allows us to determine the physical parameters that are mainly affected by these phenomena in order to determine their variability and climatology.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-821dc8d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"821dc8d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\"><p>Impact of ionospheric disturbances on peruvian technologies<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-18c0635 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"18c0635\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The objective of this research line is to study or estimate the impact that ionospheric disturbances and irregularities have on the technologies used by our country such as communication and radio-navigation systems from which we are becoming more and more dependent.
